This includes most routine dental appointments that you would have every six months. We’ll examine the health of your mouth, clean your teeth and gums and update you on any conditions that may need to be addressed.

Oral pathology exams are performed when you come in for an examination. We’ll check the soft tissues of your mouth and look for any areas of concern, such as discoloration or lesions. If anything suspicious is found we will perform a biopsy and do whatever is necessary to keep you in top oral health.

People who excessively grind their teeth can end up cracking, chipping or breaking them, which compromises the health of your tooth and can cause pain. We offer mouthguards and occlusal adjustment therapy to ease your tooth grinding and protect the structure of your teeth.

If your bite does not come together properly, an occlusal adjustment can make minor alterations to the cusps of your teeth that are not connecting properly. After these alterations, your teeth will come together in a more harmonious way.

Fillings are used to protect a damaged portion of your teeth, most commonly after a cavity. Composite fillings are a natural-looking resin material that is used in place of metal amalgam fillings. This is healthier for your body and blends in with the natural color of your teeth.

If you have damage to your teeth that is more significant than a cavity, an inlay or onlay can be used to protect the tooth. Inlays protect the area inside the cusps of your teeth. Onlays cover one or more cusps of the teeth, but not as much as a dental crown.

If you have been affected by gum disease and have had it treated to save your smile, you will require routine periodontal maintenance to ensure the disease does not return. We will cleanse your teeth, gums and the pockets below the gumline.

Bacteria and tartar can develop below the gumline, which is impossible to clean away without professional help. Scaling and root planing uses small dental tools to get between the gums and teeth and remove the bacteria as well as smooth out the tooth roots to allow for the gums to reattach healthily.
